I believe this HP movie had the most easily adapted movie format. It moved along the smoothes of them, in my opinion, and I appreciated it.

MCT:August 21, 2008A very good followup, with everyone coming back and Kenneth Branagh and the voice of Julian Glover added to the mix. Didn't turn me off one bit from the series and keeps flowing nicely from one part to the next.

As of 2008, this is the best of the series and the most maligned by critics. Chris Columbus was departing and lavished attention and detail. Richard Harris is so good he makes a competent successor seem inadequate. If only he could have completed the series. John Williams HP scoring at its apex. Satisfying as a stand-alone movie, apart from the rest of the series.
